Hello, this is Mimiyashi from the staff.

Since it was summer vacation,

Since it was summer vacation,
my family of four and I went to Lake Hamana in Shizuoka Prefecture!
This trip was about enjoying the rich natural scenery of the lakeside and
delicious gourmet food.
When we travel, our whole family usually wears BERING watches because they are thin, light, and don't get in the way on our wrists. This time, I'd like to introduce the watch my husband is wearing, along with some gourmet photos.

Well, on the first day of our trip, we left early in the morning to avoid traffic jams.
Before the trip even started, what our whole family was looking forward to most was tasting the famous "Genkotsu Hamburg," which can only be eaten in Shizuoka Prefecture, and Lake Hamana's specialty, "Eel."
We had heard rumors that there were usually hours-long waits, so we thought we might not be able to eat them, but thanks to our early departure, we were able to get into the restaurant right when it opened!
As the name suggests, a fist-sized, hearty hamburger steak awaited us.
Since it's 100% beef, it's said to be best eaten slightly rare inside.
We left the cooking to them, and the hamburger steak that came out was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, filling our mouths with rich meat flavor with every bite.
Each family member ordered different sauces and was able to enjoy it to their heart's content.

For lunch on the second day, we headed to Lake Hamana.
Speaking of Lake Hamana, it's all about eel!
We had fluffy steamed eel at a restaurant near Lake Hamana (which seemed to be famous locally).
The savory aroma of the sauce and the tenderness of the eel were exquisite, and our whole family was extremely satisfied once again!!!

After filling our stomachs, we took a cable car to enjoy the magnificent views of Lake Hamana.
The view from the high ground was as beautiful as a painting.
We were able to gaze upon Lake Hamana from an angle we don't usually see and truly feel the grandeur of nature.
However, it was extremely hot, so we couldn't stay for long. (lol)

So, the BERING watch my husband was wearing this time is the Ultra Slim Collection, series 18440, which is an amazing 5mm thin.
It's a watch I gave to my husband for his birthday, as he loves blue and black.
He loves wearing it even on regular days.

"Despite its luxurious appearance, it's really thin,
light, and easy to read, so it's easy to wear anywhere!"
he raved.
It weighs only 69 grams, and the face diameter is 4 cm.

Our trip to Lake Hamana was an unforgettable time, filled with delicious food, wonderful scenery, and the smiles of our family.
The taste of the Genkotsu Hamburg and eel, and the magnificent view from the cable car, were deeply etched in our hearts.
Next time we travel, I hope our whole family can wear our favorite BERING watches and go on another adventure.
