Plywood is made by slicing shina wood into thin layers about 1mm thick, overlapping them so that the wood grain of each layer is perpendicular to the next, gluing them together, and then forming them into a curved shape using a mold under heat. It is characterized by its resistance to distortion and warping, resulting in a durable and sturdy finish. Compared to solid wood, it is highly workable and can be bent, which is why it has been widely used in highly designed interiors by famous designers.
